I'll not suggest that I'm offended, but JEEZ!

Have you seen the banner up top for OCC? I went ahead and clicked onto the ad/link and couldn't believe it (yes I could....). They offer NOTHING of value! Tell me they're dying out, pleeeeese.......

I clicked out of curiosity also. My first and last visit. Definitely not my thing, but I see bunches of people wearing their stuff. The money is rollin' into the OCC coffers!

Cancelled on the Discovery Channel. They've moved to The Learning Channel for the 07 season.

I rarely watch any of those bike shows anymore - especially OCC. Those type shows were good when it first started with Jesse James, but he got too big, and don't think he even builds with the same passion as he used to. Even with Monster Garage, he throws ideas around and other people do the work - and then he takes the credit.

I don't consider OCC to be true builders. The carbs, forks, engine, etc are generally out-sourced. I consider them to be artist sheet metal workers - nothing more.

But Mikey? How can you not like him?!

OCC are kinda like Rosie O'Donnell.

Kinda fat, kinda NYC-ish, kinda don't know *** is really going on, but they're going to give you their input.

Also, like big Rosie, will be out of the spotlight soon enough.

(sorry dude/no go.)

Their bikes suck. Bigtime. I watch the show semi-frequently, but in a COPs or Jerry Springer kinda way.

Mikey is my favorite. Maybe because he rides a scooter! :-D

Don't have extended cable, never saw the show. Doesn't sound like I'm missing much. Of course, I've never made it through any of the reality shows, American Idol, or host of CSI shows on "regular" TV either.

I'm impressed by the analogy. Very good.

It was the personalities that made the show. There are better bike builders, but the unique father and son relationship for that show made it big.

One of the big turn offs for me was how much they destroyed things that were still good.

---This is uncanny. Just looked at my digital temp and it says 33 degrees and I have to go to Dallas. Exactly just like last Monday. Kinda Twilight Zonish.
