I like to tell my friends about riding 5000 miles on my Triumph. In two weeks. "Wow ... on a motorcycle"??! Then I receive my latest copy of BMW Owner's News and find this article on Ardys Kellerman, and I suddenly feel rather humble, and not at all like the power-rider I sometimes envision myself to be.
This is one hard-riding sweetheart! For any of you long-distance riders .... enjoy. And for anyone who thinks they're getting too old to ride, take heart!

Great story.
When I saw her picture she looked very familiar and I thought I knew where I saw her. I was at Lone Star BMW and I saw this old lady on a kick ass beemer. I was thinking how can that old woman handle that bike. Now I know "the rest of the story".
She's a great example and...keeps us humble.

What a fantastic article! I can not imagine riding that many miles, but it sure would be fun to try. Maybe when I'm retired...
In the meantime, great article, Bob. :gpst:

Good article, wonder what she does in her spare time? She's been a fixture in BMW long distance riding for some time, hope she can continue for many years to come. Would that we would be so fortunate too!

I can't imagine any way we won't be as fortunate (of course I can ... just push it aside) ... gotta be an optimist with this biking thing!
