Since I got my bonny it's been an excellent source of stress relief. Whenever I'm bothered by something, a nice ride always makes me feel better. Riding and taking in the sights always gives a bit of perspective. I crashed and it's in the shop right now.
What??? do you all do when you can't ride?
I'm bothered by relationship b.s.
Any funny anecdotes? Reasons why we don't need this sh*t???
I'm beyond bored and all my friends are married with kids, staying home tonight.
Macallan's scotch and Lagunitas IPA are my buddy's right now!!!

Come on, there's got to be some people out there with nothing better to do than read this forum. Ha ha.

This is the self help forum right???

Dang,Son. Thanks for the pic.I thought a STANDARD CAB PICK-UP could only be seen in a museum. You sir,are a true rebel. BTW,IMO,THE best pick-up EVER built was the 1976 Chevy Luv in Shannon green with the Mikado [emperor] package. :-D

Aaron, nothing like a pick-em-up truck for backup when those days riding is out of the question, for whatever reason. You just can't beat a truck for utility and fun.

My Silverado has over 100K miles and is as good as new and is the most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven. We've used it to haul firewood and rock as well as material to renovate our kitchen and build our bar. It's hauled untold tons of stuff to the dump and from the DIY stores.

Hope you're back on the bike soon!

My 92 Silverado has 224,000 miles on it, still starts up (almost) every morning...I love it. Sorry, Roddy, extended cab on mine. Once you have had a pickup, you just can't give it up.........

I can't believe no one mentioned having 2 (or more) bikes for problems such as this. I can jump on my CL350 Honda & get as many looks & comments as the Bonnie. The high pipe 350 scramble always gets looks. Everyone either had one, rode one, wrecked one, wants one, wants to know if I will sell mine, had their first date on one.
The next best thing is my lowered 91 Caprice with SS wheels & ham radio antennas. Looks like a Cop car. With it & the radios & XM radio I could ride around forever. Blues Channel 74 rules.
Better not to wreck your Bonneville though.

Ahh,relationship BS! I know it well! In my opinion you have two choices here; (1) Remove yourself from the situation all together and regroup. Is it really worth getting bent out of shape over? If your at the point of anxiety, its time to move on and just focus on yourself.(2) Swallow your pride and become some elses emotional puppet.Let the other person do whatever they want while you sit at home and bellyache over it.
Good God man! wake up! and think of your own happiness. If your in a situation where you're bothered to the point of asking a bunch of strangers for advice, you really neat to rethink this.
Listen,I've been Married for some time now.I've got four kids ranging in age from 3 years old to 18 years old.I live in a 3000 sq ft home and have three late model cars which have to get paid for.I have a Land Rover and a Scrambler in the garage(that I own) which are basicly my toys.My Wife and I both work full time and she even teaches piano in the evenings from our house.Every day it seems there's an issue of some sort. Our kids require a lot of attention and basicly have both of us run off our feet 24/7 and constantly need money for one silly thing or another. When I arrive home from work every day,I take a deep breath as my key turns in the doorknob, because I don't know whats waiting for me on the other side. Needless to say I get a little stressed from time to time, but at the end of the day I'm a pretty happy guy because this is the life my Wife and I BOTH wanted and chose.
If your having problems with your "friend" at this point you really should regroup. Imagine having your 16 year old Son who is still in Highschool tell you that his 19 year old girlfriend is pregnant and he wants to quit School and get a job to support them.Imagine your 18 year old daughter wanting to go to University in another Country. Imagine having an 11 year old with a severe learning disability, and a three year old that is set on one speed...flat out!,Imagine living my life with said friend and having to pick up the pieces if it all fell appart. Stress?....I laugh at stress...Ha!!
