I ordered the seat and side cover thumbscrews and have no problem with them at all. As with all fasteners, it is wise to check them before you ride off. Got mine at newbonneville.com. Joe :-D

Nice TOOL KIT with a new bonne hey I got better with my kids new $65 bicycle The seat bolts ahve a tendensy to leave Wy bud lost his I try tio tighten anything I can before I ride Cept for the loc-tite bolts anything suseptable Hey its an English bike Got good points & some bad I personally wouldnt give mine up Wish they had a better tool (basic) kit tho?? I got the thumb fasteners for my bonneville and never had a problem once they set in. Wnen you first put them in you have to be conscious every time you get on and off and just check them. after that, I remember to check whenever I fill up, but they have never been loose.

Lost three thumb bolts so far. Not going to replace any more. Any fastener that requires checking before I ride must be wrong.
