I was in Santa Ana, California for four days this last week to speak at a symposium and found myself with time to check out the local Triumph dealership. So Cal Triumph in Brea ROCKS! They have everything from Triumph - riding gear, clothes, bike accessories, models, and all kinds of Triumph doodads. I see all of this stuff on line, but there are some things I just have to fondle before I buy. My local dealer is fine as far as the bike itself goes, but I also want the STUFF! So I dropped a bit of cash at So Cal, though not as much as I would have liked, and came home with luggage much heavier than when I left. The guys at So Cal said that Triumph is second only to HD in terms of branded clothing and accessories, which is hard to believe when you see so little of it at some dealers, but very easy to believe when you visit a store that really stocks up on it.
We write a lot about dealers in terms of bike sales and service. I travel all over the country and would like to know who else has a dealer that really stocks up on the Triumph swag. :yayyy:

None of the dealers I have been to in WA have a whole lot...Champion Cycle in Bellingham has more of the accesories for the bikes on hand than the others, and the also have a fair amount of shirts and riding gear. Still compared to how much Triumph makes, they have hardly any of it. Cycle Barn in Lynwood seems to have almost no clothing and very few accessories on hand.....

RAMP Motorcycles in LI NY had a bunch of Triumph stuff.
What I'd really like to see are Triumph shirts with the dealer name on the back, like the HD dealers have.
Or like this swell one:
Hermy's in PA had some nice shirts too.

They can order in the "swag" as far as I'm concerned. I want to be able to go to the dealer for IN STOCK parts that keep my bike off the road.

Bikers Edge in Wichita Ks. has lots of stuff, both Triumph branded and now stocking some from New Bonnieville.

My son is starting school next week at WWU. I went by Champion a while back and I'm planning to stop in this Saturday when we're there to drop him off. Neat little shop.
If you haven't been in Cycle Barn in a while, they might have more than you rememeber. I was there about a month ago and they had far more than last year (almost none) and more than there was back in the late spring.

Capitol Area Triumph carry's a ton of swag in stock, shirts, jackets, leather, boot's, gloves, coffee cups, patche's and stickers and a lot of other stuff I am leaving out.
Hell I even seen a triumph watch and wallet there...( I needed a wallet but couldnt do the deed as the inside of it was this hideous blue/purple catastrophy )
Stop in and check them out.

From what I hear, you may start finding more dealers with more of this stuff...I've heard that Triumph is putting Harley type pressure on the dealers to average XX dollars of this stuff with each bike sold (the figure I heard for XX was $1500). And this is not the only area that Triumph is putting pressure on the dealers--or so I have heard. :-D
