I promise that I will stop asking so many questions once snowboarding season starts. Right now I am totally obsessed with motorcycles for some reason.

I recently purchased a 2002 Red Bonneville and I'm thinking about changing the color. It's not that I don't like the color, I do. I just don't love it. Is there anyone out there who would want to trade - my red fenders and red/silver gas tank for a different color?

If not, is there anyone who is getting rid of silver or chrome fenders? I can live with the red gas tank.

I'm also looking for silver or chrome side panels because I'm not crazy about the black ones. I think they're called side panels.

Hmm. side panels are available in chrome, I havnt seen them in person, and opinions vary, as always.
there is a "kid" in my neighborhood who paints his friends bikes and a few others by word of mouth. I am not sure what he would charge but some of the bikes I have seen rolled out were quite nice. I only mention this cause you are in jersey. take your stuff off over the winter and let him have it. you will have a one off after that alright

Suggestion - keep the red tank, paint the fenders white using the same color red as stripes with gold pinstripe borders (ala vintage Triumph colors).

Red, white and gold look GOOD together..

It's called "Dupli-Color" at your local auto parts store. With some time and patience, it can look as good as a factory paint job. Down time wouldn't be anymore than waiting for the "swapped" items to show up.
