I have run these on quads before, and they work great. Not as much power, or throttle response as a FCR, but better fuel economy.

Maybe the less throttle response will keep it from flooding when you roll on the throttle.

Very easy to adjust too.

Intresting that they reccomend 38mm carbs for 80 to 95 inch big twins. I would have thought that they would take a larger carb.


Kinda put's Gately's 42mm mikuni setup for our bikes on the heavy side. Bill is of course a racer though, self explanatory.


Personally I'll be looking into 36mm mikuni's, Dinkwa :-D
is working on a setup for them. I am the most impatient person I know however, and am considering taking this upon myself.

We'll see....

What's the stock size?

Personally, I think a lot of the ridability issues people are seeing is due to too much carb. You shouldn't need much more than a 35 or 36 for street use.

The stock CVK are 36mm.
