I was told by a triumph rep that not in the next several years because the carbs were easily meeting emissions standrds for future requirments even in the strictest countries.
However, now someone at the BA forum has said they took the factory tour and was told the speedmaster (and i assume the others, or at least cruisers) would have EFI in 08. So it sounds like it is possible. However, i wonder if only the cruisers, or possibly even only the speedy will get it. Reason i wonder is because the twins are designed to somewhat closly replicate a vintage bonnie which is why the carbs in the 1st place. But the speedy is more like a hot rodded twin and might not matter to most customers that they don't have carbs. The america is sorta in between so who knows. Anyway, just speculation. But in any case it seems more likely now that at least one if not all the twins will be injected in 08. I just hope that if they come out with the rumored big twin it's at the same time because i would definatly sell the speedy for a new injected one. But if i did that and the next year they released the big twin i'd have to shoot myself. I want the rumored bike, but if it ain't gonna happen i want an injected speedy. By the way, the poster who said they took the tour also said that the 07 speedys are getting new wheels because he saw them on the line. He said they "match", which could mean a number of things.
