It seems to me that the moderators don't want to offend the advertisers no matter how the member feels about the vendors. Some people do have legitimate gripes. They should be able to get it off their chests.

I agree with you, and many customer/vendor relationships are either terminated - flourished - resolved here on TriumphRat.Net.

However, I don't believe in "excesses". For example:

Threads are deleted when a dealer or vendor encourages a group of their customers to post/reply to the same topic about a floor sale or mail-order special.
An angry customer executes a retaliatory strategy with an agenda other than resolving the original complaint.
A user makes personal attacks on a vendor.[/list]So it's Ok if someone wanted to say that one of the advertisers here didn't ship on time, or delivered a poor-quality product. It's also Ok for users to share their good or bad experiences if another is considering them for an initial purchase.

There have been issues with advertisers and technology vendors that supported TriumphRat.Net in the past. Either they tried to take advantage, or refused to deliver the service that was promised. The reason why I don't share the experiences here is because when it comes to this site is that I take such negative situations so personal, that sharing them offers no value to the community, and just accept it as a necessary part of supporting what I enjoy doing.

What I do share is my good / bad experiences with my personal dealings and purchases related to motorcycle products and services, just like everyone else here does.

Hope this helps,
