2007 T100 Review

Fuel injection again mentioned for '08. Shouldn't need air injection then though from the factory.

I agree with him on one thing for sure.....the rear brake locks up the wheel way too easy. The speedmaster i'm sure has the same brakes.......or do they? anyways, thats something i rarely hear mentioned, but i had to work at getting used to mine because that was happening to me a lot at first. i wish they were adjustable as far as how much pressure it takes to get a given amount of braking. Anyway, it was just nice to hear i'm not the only one who feels like that.

Nice write-up. I like the color of the featured bike.

I haven't had a problem with the brakes locking up the wheel. But I'm also using engine braking as much as possible.

The few times I had to lock up the rear wheel in short stops the Speedmaster stayed on course nicely.

Seems like fuel injection is always rumored to be around the corner. The real question is who would trade up if they offered it?

I figure by the time they actually get FI on the bike I'll have all my mods and jetting sorted...

but if they came out with a 1200cc FI twin that was still air cooled...

I might. If a EFI speedmaster yielded 10 more HP stock i'd likely trade up. but i'd have to put my stock cam cover, shocks, and a few other things back on my bike b4 selling it. I'm not about to buy all those things over again !
