Joerockhead and myself have been meeting up at the Crest on the weekends for some play time and we're looken for others who want to join in the fun.
We don't really have a "plan" when we meet, we just decide on something and go. we're easy going, ride at a sane pace and nobody is going to be left behind or hung out to dry.
We have been using the Crest as a start point but nothing is really written in stone. we try to stay off the blocks as much as possible.
If somebody got a better/different idea then put it on the table. We're just looken to ride and if we can get a small informal group together for semi regular weekend rides so much the better.
So, if your looken to hook-up for a weekend ride/s then give me a or JRH a PM.

Last time JRH and I talked we had planned to ride on Sunday (July-30).
Also planning on riding next Tuesday (AUG-03) (he's off and I am going to play hooky). One of those 2 day We'll probably do the HWY33 ride again to get the timing down. Maybe Sunday and then loops around the Rock Store on Tuesday When the place is empty.

We try to meet as early as possible to beat the heat.

Our route options will improve when the weather gets a little more reasonable.

See ya.

When the weather isn't so friggin hot i was thinking of trying to recruit everyone again and do the angeles to palmdale to Elizibeth lake (stop there for a rest and a smoke) down lake Hughes road to castaic ride. Noy a huge long ride, but a good 130 miles for me at least by the time i'm home. And as you know i'm too much of a wuss to do much more than that !

MES -

I'll be down with a ride but not for a couple of weeks. Got some girlfriend duty and out of town guests for the next two weekends, but keep the thread alive and maybe Aug 10 weekend we'll ride.

Those next two don't work for me, but keep us posted. I want to ride that loop.

Hey, good to hear from you.
I'm swamped with a TV show deadline and then we're going to visit family in Stockholm and London until labor day.
I checked with the Triumph factory to see if I could do a visit and they said "sure mate come on over." When I told them what week we were going to be there they said they are closed for holidays. Argh typical huh?!
How fun on your rides and I'll be happy to join in after labor day.

I'm deffinetly in!

I like early rides to beat the heat and traffic and still give us the afternoon for other commitments.

I can go almost any weekend, (and no my buddy that had the wide glide on Dazco's last ride won't be in)

This week's plan is to meet at the Shell Station Sunday morning at 6:30 and do the Frazier Park to Ojai run, with plenty of canyons and minimal freeways en route. Should be about a 200 miler. We will keep track of mileage and travel times in anticipation of a future group ride.
Be there or stay home.

Didn't bother me none.

No worries about your buddy. I got no problems with HDs. I got a problem with some of the people that ride them, but that is neither here nor there.

As I said, it's an open-ended invite. I'll PM you guys with my cell#, if and when You want to ride then give me a call or PM and we'll go from there.
Quick ,easy, loose.

(Don't worry Monkey boy, If you want to do that ride the 33, We 'll just have to do it again  )
Tuesday it will be loops around the SM canyons.
The weather is going to break and they are calling for only 81 and partly cloudy. . That's about as good as it gets this time of year.

PMs on the way.
