so I went for the Reverse Cone Staintunes! Cha Ching!

All the talk about predators and TORs was getting to me. I've been keeping up with the posts about stock too quiet and the likes. I figured I'd go ahead and shell out the big bucks and be that much happier in the long run.

You get what you pay for, right? :upthumb:

Funny thing is... Now I have a pair of like-new TORs I don't need.

Check out the classifieds if think you might be interested in 'em.

Phil,

I think you made the right choice. The Staintunes are a happy medium, not to loud...not to soft, I reckon they sound oh sooo nice!!. Also, being stainless if you happen to scratch them you can get them polished back to brand new. Gotta be happy with that! :-D

Pete,

Pictures are coming soon. Look for them in about three weeks.

It's gonna be about two weeks until they arrive and another week at the shop.

Yea, you're right Nathan. But I'm so anxious to get her lookin the way I want 'er to, plus I've put such a butt-load on my credit card for parts lately. I just figured that I'd ring-up a couple extra hundred at the dealer so I could RIDE.

I was going little by little, but then my knucklehead son-in-law bought a new HD 1200 Sporty Custom last week. He got a Stage-1 upgrade with some obnoxiously loud pipes. I wanna get mine the way it should be so he can eat some Bonnie-dust.
