Do the CR carbs have a big single hole w/brass cap screw in the bottom of the bowl or do they have to be taken apart with the 4 little screws at the corners of the bowl to rejet?? They would be almost worth the price just for the convienence of unscrewing two big caps to get to the main jets instead of the knuckle busting contortions I have to go through now in undoing the 8 allen heads I have in my stock carbs.
All the carbs I can remember back when had the single hole deal to rejet.
Anybody know for sure??

Yup, the bowls hafta come off to rejet these.
Not like the old ones where you just pull out the drain plug and voila.

One of the things I did to facilitate slow and main jet changes on my CRS carbs is use 1 inch aluminum spacers in conjunction with longer allen bolts from www.desmoparts.com

Doing this made accessing the inner bowl screws alot easier, as well as the rear screws. Cut about 10 or 15 minutes out of my rejetting debacles.
