Has any Scrambler owner here ridden any distance on the solo replacement seat? If so, how was the comfort?

A Scrambler I took for a 50-mile test ride had this solo seat with the plastic back. Though this wasn't an extended trip, I found the seat to be as comfortable as the stock 2-up seat. Frankly, I don't see the need for this seat except to emphasize a nostalgic look. The stock 2-up seat allows for the occasional passenger, is equally (or more) comfortable, and if you want to strap on some luggage, it can go just as easily on the padded rear portion of the stock seat as with the solo seat.

I'm sure that little rack in the back isn't much better than strapping stuff over the pad, but I think it sure looks cool.

I swear by my solo seat for comfort (I think it is better than the gel seat on my Tiger). Did 350 miles on Sunday with no problem. I like the fact that it rises up a bit in the back as opposed to the flat stock seat which I didn't like very well (of course I didn't really ride it for any long distance, just the first 200 miles or so).

I have a top bag strapped to the rack which was very easy to do.
