On my 05 T100 my left header is blue and my rt header is gold (oriented sitting on bike) Bike has 750 miles, Toga pipes and rejet and AI out. Bike runs absolutely beautiful. I love the blue pipes, will the other one catch up.?? Carbs are balanced as tech said at 500 mile service. Best bike I have ever run, very smooth. Thanks for any help.

Right on schedule. My right is catching up at 8000 miles.

It will take longer with the AI removed, but eventually. Look at it this way, its hard to look at both pipes at the same time so nobody else will notice. :-D

I was just looking at mine the other day wondering why the right was a little lighter than the left...At least now I know that I'm not the only one.

And now to go out for a beautiful ride with the Parabellum off...It's too hot!

Either a sync problem or left to idle on the side stand too long.

My Scrambler with 400 miles on the odometer has the exact exhaust coloration as you described - slightly blue onthe left and golden on the right.

I hear in Australia it goes the other way, blue on right, gold on left. :-D

That happens because of the way the Bonnie ignition is set up. The coil fires both plugs at the same time on each crank revolution, and because of that, one plug lead gets a bit more energy from the coil and thus runs very slightly hotter than the other. If you swap the plug leads, the gold header will catch up to the other one. Don't worry it will run just fine. I did this after buffing the blue off my headers, which was after dialing in the jetting. Sure enough one got a little gold and the other got no color. I swapped the leads and the other pipe turned gold within a day.

I've since replaced my stock coil with a Nology from New Bonneville, along with the Nology grounded plug wires. No spark imbalance now.
Cheers!
Scott
