With a little help from a couple guys from this forum.
I did it ,I installed new tach. $50.00 bucks on e-bay and
about 2 1/2 hours of work. It looks like it belongs there.
I have wanted a tach since I bought the bike new.
Triumph wants some thing like $325.00 ,and I'm not sure,
if it's newbonneville or bellacorse wanted $360.00.
Either way, both are outrageously over priced.
Hey , for $50.00 bucks and a little time, I happy with it.
What do you think?
Bill

I like it!.. can you post a part number/vendor? or just the item number from when you picked it up off ebay.

Thanks!

Well, does it work accuratly? Is it lighted? Where did you tie in the tach signal input wire? Pin 15 on the ignition module or pin 9 on the headlight bucker plug? It certainly looks good for that price. It isn't much different from the LSL one which costs over 350 bones!

I saw yours , I think you are the one that got me started.
I mounted mine to the far outside corner of the warning
light housing. It brings it up nice and flush with the speedo
and it fits right in the radius of the cover plate with the
numbers straight.
Thanks for the idea.
