.....at Foxdale, Isle of Man. Gave her a whirl round this muddy patch near the old lead mines:

What with the 19t sprocket, etc it was a handful (also rider is 50 and 17st) The rear Conti' Escape gave reasonable traction but the front Trailwing was useless, wouldn't steer atall and washed out. If I wanted to do more 'Scrambling' with my Scrambler I'd put on a pair of Conti' TKC 80.

The awesomeness of that picture is indescribable. If I were a valley girl, I'd describe it as "totally awesome".

You must enjoy detailing. I would have gone around the lake.

If all that dirt came out of an old lead mine I would be very careful when cleaning the bike. I don't think I would want to ride anywhere near a lead mine.

Johny-

Ignore the nonsense about detailing and lead. The bike looks better dirty.

I have had a few mud runs with the stock tires and found the bike to be a handful but a ton of fun (especially when you consider the other bike I have been know to ride on dirt roads, etc. is a Tiger). I was riding with a friend on a GS and we had to push his out so at least mine went under its own power.

Cheers,
Fred
