I've been thinking of buying one. Does anyone have one and is it worth it?

Billy-

I've got one, and am pleased as punch with it. I am short of stature, almost 5'7" with a 29" inseam, and the added stability is a big plus for me. Additionally it "slims" the look of the bike. I opted for the flame version, big bucks I know, but I couldn't resist. Fits like a glove. Haven't done a long ride with it yet (soon!) but I am very happy I made the switch. And don't forget the free Brent candy!

I really want one of Brent's low profile seats also! Are the flamed seats made out of the same material, with the only difference being the embrodery for the flames? In brents pics, it looks like the plain seat is a different material than the flame seat.
How is the riding position with the seat? The stock position is a little uncomfortable for me as you set higher on the bike. Does the low profile seat help in setting you lower into the bike?

If I had an America or speed master....this is the seat I would buy too....although maybe someone that owns one can chime in as far as comfort goes.

I can't speak to a difference in materials between the plain and flame version. I do know that the Brent seat gets you down a good 2 inches, which for me is really helpful. The seat is narrower as well, which helps. Comfort wise, it is less cushionee than the stock; but it fits my fanny real well. I haven't been on a long ride yet, but so far, so good. And I think it looks so so much better than the stock seat. The flames were pure vanity on my part. I gulped hard to pay the extra $. But I have a bit of a flame thing going with my mirrors, rear fender piece and reservoir cover (most of which is courtesy of Brent- with added mints!)

I'm pretty sure it is fabricated strictly for the TBA/Speedie models.
Welcome, by the way.

Just curious... If you get a low profile seat do you find that you need to change the risers?

I put the lowpro on my Speedy a couple of weeks back. It completely transformed the feeling of the bike. At 6' 230lbs, I was feeling like the bike was a bit too small for me. The saddle really does drop you down, as well as pulling you back a bit. Now my riding position is perfect. It looks amazing with the chrome fender rack that Brent sells as well. As far as comfort goes, it's fine for short to mid rides. I rode for 8 hours last weekend, and my backside was feeling it. I have no regrets at all, it's a great saddle. I have read that the Corbin actually puts you closer to the controls than stock. I couldn't imagine that.
