I have a 2001 Bonneville and I replaced the stock horn about a year ago but I'm still unsatisfied with the volume.

Please could somebody suggest a really LOUD horn that I will be able to fit on my bike fairly easily.

I can furnish brackets etc., but I have no clue about electrical stuff, so if the new horn requires extra wiring or relays etc., that may be a problem...

Thanks very much

I am happy with the Fiamm K-100 RoadThunder Horn purchased from Ridesafer.com. I paid $24.95 for it 2 years ago. Mounting was easy and it used the same wires as the stock horn.

Warning: You may find other items on their site you can't live without. :-D

Similar to redbirds I'm sure, I've installed a 135dB "Highway Blaster" horn from Autozone (made by Fiamm I believe) at about $15. I had to use the existing stock horn's bracket because it's isolated (using the bracket which came with the Autozone horn caused the horn to blast off as soon as the key was turned on). Hard to describe the horn sound...kinda like a small truck or SUV sound.

I bought one of these. It sounds like the low tone on one of those European Sports Car bi-tone horns. Loud, easy to install, and inexpensive...not bad.

I have the same horn from Newbonneville and was able to mount it in the volume under the gas tank (formerly occupied by part of the AI assembly I believe - though I had the dealer remove the AI before I brought the bike home.) I probably posted about it many months ago and I also recall reading in this forum where someone else had done the same. It makes for a clean look. Let me know if you'd like more info and I will post it.

I got a Freeway Blaster from AutoZone for $15. It looks bad, but works much better than th stock POS.

I got the one from newbonneville.com a while back also. 125db and the sound is good. Much better than the wimpy stock one. $19.99 I think.
