In Sweden there's a guy who is an expert on turbo charging Bonnevilles. That's probably the next step for me. At least in the future.
You can get from 115 up to as much as around 200 hps! A friend tested one with "only" 115 hps and was very satisfied.
Check it out at: www.stabbarps-auto.com
But I have to admit - the Bonnie looks much cooler without the turbo stuff.

I have looked and looked at jojje1963's Turbo Bonnie and i like it. For looks though it is lacking. For a fix, make it look better, I would find someway to place the turbo lower on the front frame, to maintain the twin down pipe look. Maybe would try a pair of twin mini snowmobile turbos (seen that approach on custom chops).

I have built a few with stock down pipes. Like this one:

I disagree on the appearance, I think it looks great with all that plumbing out front. Nothing is hidden, I'm sure it sounds fantastic too.

jojje1963, how streetable are these? What front end is that with the dual disks on your site? You do some amazing work.

Thank you!
The street version with 100-120hp is just as streetable as any bike, the power is impressive but not insane, and there isn't much problem with them. I have done over 300 runs plus used it on the road for 3 years and it's still going strong.

The front end is FZR1000 forks with a GSXR400 wheel.

If you like plumbing you will love my latest bike :-D

Seriously, that is awesome. Do you race for a living? Or is this just a hobby? Man that is some nice, dedicated work!

That looks like a fun ride, I had a neighbor growing up that built 2 stroke drag bikes.

Are all your turbo bikes custom built, or are they from a turbo-kit (that I could buy)?

Thanks

Thanks guys,

Racing is a hobby (no one in Sweden can dragrace for a living) but I do make some stuff for others too so some money are generated, not enough though, sponsors needed!
My new bike is 1120cc and should have 220hp+ at the wheel when it's sorted and I turn up the boost to over 28psi. It's 191kg (422lb) race ready.
The goal for this season is to go faster than 8.4s at the 1/4.
I'm almost sure that I now have the 3 quickest New Bonnies in the world

All my bikes are designed and built by myself, no kit yet but I have built two bikes for customers. I have tried many times to come up with a kit but it takes time to make a bolt on kit that I would be happy with and time is something I don't have right now.
