Mobil 1 'T'
.... expensive, only available through the Triumph dealership, and you have to buy TWO large containers of it if you want to be able to top off.
- BUT -
I swear to God my bike shifts easier and is quieter with the stuff Triumph says I should be using.

By the way, because I didn't buy enough with which to 'top off', I'm mixing my Mobil 1 Extended with it's Gold Cap..... same weight as the Triumph stuff, and enough of the 'T' in the bike to keep the transmission shifting quietly & easily.

Oh by the way, I'm an Amsoil fan too..... haven't tried it yet in the Bonnie though.

Mobil 1 V-twin which i'd bet my arse is the same oil that comes in the triumph bottle. Good stuff IMO. I found a guy i found at some forum who was the resident oil guru there and also works in research regarding motor oils in some capacity which i can't recall. He seemed to really know his stuff and recommended Vtwin to me, so i took his advice and i think it's probably as good as it gets for our bikes. Of course none of us know anything more than what we hear, so really it's all speculation. But it's pretty much the general consensus in the automotive world that mobil 1 is one of the best if not THE best oils you can buy.

Mobil 1 MX4T

The bike is definitely quieter and shifts significantly smoother than it did with the break-in dino oil!

I use Motul 5100 semi-synth...

The racer's at the local Triumph/Honda/Kawi shop use this in their race bikes, and that's what they put in when they service Bonnies (and other Triumphs).

I do all of my own service/mod work, and use it as well. Priced right at $25.00 4 litres jug (their sale price if you buy a case of 4).

regards...Greg

I use the Triumph Mobil oil.

Has anyone tried BelRay EXR?
