and I need you guys to help out.

I reckon I've found the footpegs I want - They are the stock ones on the Thruxton - You Thrux guys will know how cool they look compared to the stock Bonnie ones

When I saw them there wasn't a Bonnie around to compare with and this evening I went to my dealers to see if they could help. They phoned Triumph for me who couldn't answer the question and they've sold all their Thruxton's

So my question is this;

Are any of you in a position to be able to compare a Thruxton with a Bonnie and suss out if they are interchangable or if not , what would it take to make 'em fit?

Challenge is on people - hope you can help

I don't think they'll fit. The Thrux mount is 'canted' or 'turned' for a diagonal swing, and fabricated to look level when extended. I believe the Bonnie has a perpendicular swing and the mount bracket is set up to accommodate this swing. If you put the Thrux pegs on a Bonnie, they will look awkward. I could be wrong...I’m going by my bike and pics of the Bonnie.

Is it worth you popping to your local dealer and then asking the mechanics what they think this weekend?

I'm wondering if the mountings can be left in position on both bikes so we change the pegs at the pivot pin

yeah I was tempted by them but I reckon I've got enough chrome on my bike now - or at least FOR now - Saw the Thruxton pegs and fell in love - If I can make 'em fit I'm gonna 'ave 'em

I've been in to my dealer and done a bit of swapping about

Option 1 - Replacing T100 pegs and brackets with Thruxton pegs and brackets - can't be done - Mounting brackets are different

Option 2 - Replacing T100 pegs with Thruxton pegs from the pivot pin - can't be done Thruxton pegs are different in one dimension and the "stop" design to prevent the peg from swinging past the horizontal is different

you're going to have the same problem in reverse pwillie

Option 3 - replacing T100 pegs with America pegs - can be done as a straight swap from the pivot pin - BUT the T100 pegs are cranked forward slightly just outboard of the pivot pin so the America pegs will bring your foot back away from the gear and brake pedals - I've only got size 8 feet so it's not going to work for me - ho hum

saved myself 90 quid though :-)
