It was a picture of a Scrambler that directed me to the Triumph dealer.
The T-100 won my heart though.
I was never to sure about those pipes next to my leg.
A B&W T100 got me in 2004, when I went for an "economy" BBlack back then. This spring I went to see the Blue & White Scrambler early as soon as Hermy got one in. I looked, and looked, didn't sit, but it just didn't do it for me. I had a CL450 Scrambler in the 70's cause I couldn't get the CB450 Model I had preferred. I simply get nothing from the Tiger or Beemer likeness rides either. This Triumph Scrambler seems to be taking off well though.
But I decided to visit WalyLand - similar to Fantasy Island - and hold out for a new BA or SM like 1000 or 1200CC twin cruiser from Triumph.
I really wonder though, what makes each of our likes, tick...

I SO wanted a Scrambler right up until I realized that it was a Scrambler that Tom Cruise road on to the German talk show set -- eeek! (And, then I saw a picture of him wearing a Ducati jacket) guess I will have to buy a BMW bummer.
Also, I would rather have a Tangerine/White Scrambler anyway. Maybe that'll be next year's color?
