I have a new America, and I'd like to keep the pipes from turning blue as much as possible. If I install the Air Injection removal kit, will it void my warranty?

Some dealers will want to say otherwise. Depends on what the claim is.

Hey Kaiser, where'd you get the bike? The guy's at MCC in Villa Park are really cool, they told me it wouldn't be a problem. Am going on the little angels run on Sun. 5/21 check in btw. 10- 12 am at the Woodstock Harley. Check it out. cheers, Boz.

I was thinking about pulling my AI, but when I checked, I found out the dealer had already yanked the AI before he even sold me the bike. I asked him about it, and he said he pretty much yanks them from all the new bikes. I'm not complaining though. Not only did it save me the trouble, he used some of those cool Union Jack Bolts from newspeedmaster.com.

I was just looking at my engine today, and noticed that it looks like the air injection is not there. I'm wondering if the dealer pulled mine off already. Of course I'd figure this out AFTER I bought the AI kit from new speedmaster.

boz- I bought it from Motoplex in Joliet. What's the little angels run? Sorry for the stupidity, but I'm a newbie in every way. I'm actually going tomorrow to take my license test. I've had my bike for over a week and it still only has 17 miles on it!

You will do best with any warranty claim with your dealer's help. With the AI, or any mod for that matter, I would think it would make sense to check with the service manager at the dealer to see if they would make an issue of the mod if you later had a warranty claim that someone at Triumph could claim was a problem caused by your mod. Personally, I have found the two dealers within 100 miles of here to be pretty liberal and fair with such things.
