Would you say something about these or just ride it?

They're on the top of the crank case cover.

Fork! What to do.

I would just ride it but I like the brake reservoir on my Scrambler (a reference to your other post).

You got to what you got to do.

Take it back, tell the shop to look up the part number and order a new one. Tell them you'll be back when it comes in for install. Thats is BS. Was it done at a Triumph dealership??

Regardless of whether YOU decide to live with it or not (as I have on occasion), you would be doing a disservice to the dealership if you didn't at least mention it to the Service Manager. He NEEDS to approach the technician about the shoddy workmanship, and record that it was brought to his attention..... otherwise the uncaring/sloppy tech' will continue to perform such half-assed work.

You also increase the chances of the service manager OFFERING to replace the damaged parts, as opposed to your demanding his attention.

That's just plain ignorance and disrespect to customers from a worthless mechanic. Show the shop manager that for sure. If they have any respect for their customers, they'll offer to replace or repair it, no charge.

Bummer

I would be pretty unhappy too. I work in the service industry and have to deal with pain in the ass customers a lot, so I hate to do it to others, but that's a legit gripe - especially if its a newer bike. When you hire a professional, you should get professional results.

I am a mechanic at a new car Dealership. I have cut seats, scratched fenders, wreck cars, drilled holes through headliners, burned up motors, broken driveshafts. If you work on a lot of cars there is going to be some damage. But I have always stopped what I was doing & got the Service Manager. It is the right thing to do. I never had to pay for any of it.
But if you left our Dealership & came back later with a complaint, we might not do anything about it. Usually depending on time. The time to mention it is before you drive away. But most often our Service Manager will still do the repair.
Your cycle shop may be different. I had my service done & didn't leave until I was sure they hadn't dropped it or worse. They hadn't.
