Absolutly on the sprocket. I just went up one tooth to a 17 on mine and couldn't be happier about it. Makes it feel right and you lose nothing at all in the way of accelleration of the line or anywere else. At least mine didn't tho it IS modded a bit and probably has around 8-10 HP more than stock. I'm not sure about 2 teeth, but i feel it would be a bit much and i think it would then lose some low end grunt, which is what i love about the bike. Anyways, one tooth should make the burning desire for a sixth gear go away. It's the best mod you can do IMO, and i think the bike should have come this way. Incidentally, not sure if this is true, but i heard the new ones have 18's on em. Even heard that if you have i think an 05 or 06 that triumnph will give you an 18 free. I just heard that so it could be BS i suppose. I was gonna call about it but forget. Maybe i'll remember to do so today.
As for jetting, i have thunderbike pipes, a UNI filter, the snorkel removed, (a rubber nozzle that's under the seat attched to the air box which restricts airflow) and the bottom of the filter airbox drilled out to double intake area to the filter. With those mods i upped my mains from the stock 120's to 130, replaced my needles with TBS needles and 3 shims, (thruxton needles with no shims does about the same thing) turn the screws out 3-1/2 turns, and left the pilots stock. Bike is mucho stronger. A pretty good solid setup you can do w/o going to quite as much trouble is throw in a UNI filter and pull the snorkel, which is alltogether a 3-5 min job. Then add a shim or possibly 2 to the stock needles and 130 mains and you'll be about 90% as good as you're gonna get doing any other airmods.
