My first time. I guess im not a virgin anymore.

I had just passed a local HD hangout and stopped at a red light. There was a guy on a springer with girl on the back. Ignored me, so I had to mention what a great day it was for a ride. He reluctantly agreed. As the light changed, I saw several bikes coming up from behind. As I looked back, another HD just had to buzz by me. I let him go and stayed about maybe ten lengths behind him. As we approached the next red light we were both kinda waiting for it to change. I was in 3th, right on the powerband. As the light changed, I gunned it flat out. The second he heard my bike coming, he nailed it...but it was too late as I sailed past him, I really dont remember hearing him get close or gaining on me up to about 90mph when I shut it down. A couple seconds later he went by me.

The best part was afterwards, I noticed his female partner was on a road king following us. She had to see the whole thing.

Today we were stopped at a light and a HD came up along side of us. I thought that was weird since the lane was fairly narrow. When the light turned green, he tore off down the road with a roar.

We turned slowly into the diner 100 feet ahead. :-D

Good thing a cage wasn't trying to make it through the same intersection as the light was changing to red for him...

Sorry dude, smoking HD's is cool and all but please don't go jumping / busting through light controled intersections to do it. Better to just enjoy the ride and live to ride another day.

Since the Thunder Road House Cafe is 3 miles from where I work, most of the bikes I see are Harley Clones. They have the S&S engines. Some are factory made, some are shop made locally.
I have had them get beside me in my lane & then tear out like they are having a beer withdrawal. Never wave. Paid $20,00.00 plus. Big Dogs my butt.
Can a bike really be a Chopper if it was built that way? Not really chopped? I have never seen Orange County Choppers chop a bike yet. This place I am talking about used to build their frames. May still build some of them.

Well that’s nothing. The other day I pull up to this traffic light and this bike pulls up next to me. He starts that revving his motor thing and jumping the front wheel. Well I was trying to ignore him and not get into anything so I just let him go as the light changed so off he roars. Anyway he gets caught at the next traffic light and it starts up again. Only this time he gets more aggressive with it starting to make signs at my bike. So now he is starting to irritate me but I am still trying to keep my cool once again off he roars as the light turns green. Once again he is caught at the next light and I full up beside him. Now he is really angry because I am ignoring him. So he now make a remark something like oh is that one of those bikes that can just leak oil. Man now that is the last straw and I am upset so as the light changes I crank that throttle and away we go. He is now in front of me on the take off but as I change to second I take him. As he changes he starts edging in front of me. Both motor hitting red line. Once again I change to 3rd and once again I start pulling away from him. Boy it’s close at this stage and we are both pushing our bikes. He changes to 3rd and start pulling away once again. I go to fourth and catch up with him. We are now neck and neck both motors screaming. It’s almost as if we are both waiting for the other to change into 5th to gain an advantage. Eventually I change and start pulling away. He changes and misses the gear this gives me the edge as he finds 5th. Now I am about a bikes length in front of him. He is however slowly catching up. As I I am now into 5th I start to see the superior power of the Triumph starting to take the upper hand. The further we go the more I start to pull away from him until I stack off and he passes me. I did however see his bike parked further down the road at a pub so I stopped and thought I would take a photo to remember him by. So here is his bike and boy I have new respect for this as it nearly took me.

His Bike
