sooo take the cover off bike - say hello - remove lock - insert key - flick kill switch - annndddd - nothing - no sign of life !!!
no lights no dash no nothing !!!
checked fuses - all is good !!!
anybody got any ideas- oh yesterday bike was fine

Pull the seat off and make sure a battery connection hasn't rattled loose....that happened to me once.....most of the time, with something that wierd, it's just a loose wire issue.....hopefully. :???:

Ditto, it is always something simple. Battery ground or positive lead are always suspect on a Motorcycle. By the by, are these late model Triumphs positive or negative earth? :???: :-D

yup battery - if i had had only a couple more minutes before i had to take the car instead i surely would have stumbled apon the lose connection. but turns out it was a cry for help as she was in desperate need of a wash.
