IT was a beautiful day in Northenr VA today. Muss finally got his bike back and so we went riding. Stopped for lunch in a small town and as we were getting ready to leave, I saw some guy checking out our bikes. I was riding the Thruxton and muss had his Bonnie. The guy kept staring at the Thruxton and was far enough forward to read the tank badge. I looked over at him a couple times and he finally asks, "Is that a Harley?" Now, I'm no HD expert, but I haven't seen a single one that looks remotely close to the Thrux. This guy wasn't looking at the Bonnie at all. Wow. I kindly informed him that no, it wasn't a Harley and he went on his merry way. Muss looked at me, we shook our heads, and started the engines. Some people just can't read.

Wow sounds like a brain dead hick to me, he is probably one of my cousins. Anyway how do you compare riding a Thrux to a Bonnie. I think it is cool you have 2 harleys.

"Is Triumph a new model of Harley?--I haven't heard of that model before." I said, yeah it's a new model and rode off. :-D

I think i would direct him to the nearest harley dealership and tell him to ask them about they're newest best handleing most well made model yet,,, the thruxton. Just so he could get laughed out of the dealership.
