That's what another rider said about the Speedmaster today.
This morning I went to the first of a 2-part basic MC maintenance class.
I learned a bunch already.
Also there were riders on a Honda Shadow (1100?) Suzuki Intruder (1500?) and a Sportster 1200 Custom. Nice guys, experienced riders all (except me). The instructor was a real MC guy with an amazing resume and does the ton daily during his commute.
The Sporty was very clean and well-maintained. Very nice, a classic Harley.
The Suzuki looked like it had been ridden hard and put up wet daily. In fact, one of the bolts for the saddlebag brackets rusted out and broke during the class.
The Honda had everything mounted on it. Everything. A cassette player! All manner of lights. Stuff I couldn't even identify. Bells and whistles galore, including an actual bell hanging from the lower frame! Very well kept, but w-a-y too busy for me.
But the Speedmaster drew the most attention. Another guy simply said, "That's a nice bike."
On the way home I made a stop and when I came back out a couple was admiring the bike. Turned out he's a Trident rider who comes by this site on occasion.
Tomorrow we're taking the bike on a Sunday ride along the Delaware. Let's see if we can make any Triumph converts on the way.
