I'm planning to have a machinist friend fab me up some straight drag pipes (with just a little baffle), He only knows harley's so I'm looking for dimensions if anyone else has done this. Also some jetting recommendations (rest of bike is stock except for the TOR's I'm replacing and AI kit is removed, and I live a mile above sea level).

Thanx in advance

If your going to fab them, how about making a 2-1 like the LSR pipes for HD's. THAT would be trick! HD seems to get the majority of the cool pipes, supply and demand sucks!

I don`t know the exact diameter of the stock headers, but the 1-1/2"x 12" J&P baffles that I put in them [after cutting off the kink,of course] are a tight, rattle free fit. They were too loud and raspy for my old ears,so I made a 2 into 1 pipe,

and used a piece of a Thrux can and a piece of stock Bonnie can,and got a deep rich sound, even though the can is hollow.

:-D All thats left is a short support strut and a bit of header wrap on the non-shiney bits. Steve

I'm more interested in lengths to get the most out of them...I'm really not too versed on this but my understanding is that there is a ratio which needs to be met between length and diameter (which will probably stay close to stock which I can measure). And the 2 into one looks rad, but I'll probably keep it 2 in 2, I prefer symmetry.
