Well I finally managed to perform my Nology coil/wires/iridium plugs upgrade today after having the parts sit in my closet for about 2 months now. I also backed down from the 19 tooth front sprocket to the 18 tooth. Gave 'er a good bath too. Looks awesome!

I haven't been on it much lately, so I was surprised to see the right side spark plug a bit black at the tip. Sure enough, when I put the new plugs in the pressure from the right exhaust was more sporatic... a few weak spurts followed by a harder pop. It was late so I didn't have the lite to start fiddling with the carbs. Just another excuse to play with it again tomorrow. Wife's gonna be annoyed.

See no point. I can't give an opinion on the upgrades becuase I didn't want to run it much without adjusting the carbs. Brand new iridium plugs and all...wnated to do it right.

I sure would like to hear the results once you get it going. But i would think about putting the old plugs back so you can evaluate the coil's performance. The iridiums definatly gave my bike a easily noticable boost in midrange accelleration, so you won't know how much of what you feel is the difference caused by the coils or the plugs. Anyway, post back once you test them out well and lets us know what you think in any case.
