Was riding to see some buddies out at Walter Reed today when I noticed that one of my headlight bolts had come completely out of the headlight. I was doing 75 at the time on the interstate. I tried to grab the bolt to prevent it from falling out and determined that the retainer thing was holding it enough for the time being. I managed to pull over on the edge of the highway and hand tightened it. I retightened it again when I left the hospital. I also found my headlight lens screw was loose. Anyone know which color Lock Tite is the temporary one?

Had a few loose bolts on the Bonne. The most common loose problem on all the new Bonne s I have seen is the clamps on the carb boots. 1 friends (before we got to it ) was leakin a fuel splash on the right carb. The guy on the line in the factory must not be real swift. Funny I have found the right carb boot to always be loose on all new I have seen. Easy fix shoud be a dealer prep gig if there was really such a thing?

I like to use a dab of yellow gorilla snot, sometimes called 3M Weather Striping Cement. Keeps things tight but not so tight that you can't get them loose again.

Elephant snot (clear GE silicone) works very good when you don't have one of the different brands of blue lock-stuff. :-D
