Since so many of us have D&D's I have a couple of questions

1) How do you remove the baffles to repack them ?

2) What is the website of D&D ?

Thanks for your help.

Remove the 4 allen head screws at the back, pull off cap, remove the long tube thingy, cut off old packing wrap with new packing of your choice and stick it back in. I have found it easies to do this with the pipes on the bike.

side note:
tube thingy is the technical term :-D

AJF,

I'm repacking mine because I heard my son coming home on it through the whole neighborhood and he was slowing down. To much noise. I even feel sorry for people in cages when I pass them and their windows are open. I like loud pipes but these are just too loud. repacking should help that,I hope.

As far as getting the fiberglass repacking material I just stopped in the local Honda/Yamaha dealer and told him what I needed, and he placed it on the counter and away I went.

I left only after he and one of his employee's went crazy over my bike. Sure was good for the old ego.
