hey, i've seen the throttle lock question asked here a few weeks ago but i was hoping for more response.
i really need a throttle lock and the vista looks like they will work but i wanted some feedback from those of you who may have tried one or the other. type that locks on the grip or one that locks on the throttle drum under the grip?
so, question is....what have you found to be successful whether it's a vista or not.

1 1/2 inch "O" ring from any hardware store or Hydraulics MX store.
Cramp buster and Throttle rocker work real well too. These last two are around $10 dollars, the O ring cost about $2 bucks!

I use the vista cruise on my thruxton. it was for a Yamaha with 7/8" bars. I had to use a little ingenuity to make it work right but it makes long rides alot nicer now.

A 2nd vote for the $10 throttle rocker and o-ring (about .95 cents here in MD)

Being somewhat confused I'm not sure what to do with the "o" ring. Does it jamb the throttle? Create friction? or what? Is there a safety issue So I too would like to know if the vista will work on the Speedmaster ? Sorry for reinterating the question, but us in North Carolina need a little more direction.... :wink:
