I didn't want to lean forward, and I wanted sexier looking bars, thus the M bars with risers..... both of which I powder coated Black. I did quite a few miles on 'em, but I was in denial about my mid-back spasm'ing on me, and wrists being taxed. I've now got Flander's "Clubman" bars w/o the risers, and they fit me better.

Pictured below is a peak at my M Bars & risers:

Pat,
I see you got the deluxe version of the speedo/tach. I'm still using little yelow stick on dots after year.
Did you use a chart, or wait for the rev limiter to kick in?
What did you use for your indicator lines?
My tachometer money went to IKON shocks.

BTW - this season I put about 400 miles on the M-bars turned pretty low. I angled them up a bit today, try another 300 miles.
I'm resisting the risers because on the twisty roads I like them a lot. Not to good in the city. Most rides are recreational and I try to get out of town.

now THAT'S funny....!!!

I'm a little drunk right now from a hafl carafe of Red with my chicken & 'shrooms, AND a freeway drone back on the bike in the heat. So I might miss a point or two from yer post....

uuuuh yeah, DELUXE!

Like you, I wanted to spend money on shocks instead of a tach' (oh that's right, I hit the limiter to determine the Gold markers)..... But I have an LSL conversion, just haven't instal;led it, have plans....

hmmm, what else you speakeded of ?
THE M bars! ;Yeah, I angled 'em down where they belong, very cool handling, just couldn't hang with that position. I ended up repositioning them like bicyle bars..... steering the bike rather than "counter" steering.... or some'n like that.

I gotta go lay doewn now.....
Weight Watchers, no aclohol, and then a sudden party of Red doesn't seem tob e agreeing with me right now......
but it hurst sooooo good!

ZZzzzzz.......
