Greetings from the heart of Texas.
Almost have two weeks of riding under my belt on the new T-100. The weather here couldn't be better. Today a high of 70° with a clear blue sky that looked similar to the pipes on this bike. Haven't missed but one riding day due to some much needed rain.
Riding the hills west of Austin bring back memories of being a fifteen years old kid astride a 69 Kawasaki 90TR in the fall of 1969. They were mighty fun times!
I recall lusting after a Bonnie even then.

No mods at this time. Still thinking it all over. Due for the first service in about a week or so.
I am becoming very fond of this motorcycle!

John

Good way to approach the mods, John. I had to do something with the silencers and the AI right away, but otherwise decided to wait nearly a year. Just recently have replaced mirrors, seat, rear footpeg eliminators and have a 2nd set of silencers, but will now take a long breather, so as to give the wallet a break and so that I don't overdo this and it somehow look less like a Triumph.

Ravnhaus,That is just a Beautiful bike!!!! I could go on & on but might mis-spell some of the adjectives!
If I could-without offending you-I might suggest chrome cam cover to complement the other chrome you have!
As for me I really really like my TORS, but you will, as the Triumph ads say"Go your own way"!!
Sure like your bike, as someone told Dazco while back Bitchin!!

Very nice blue...........

People ask me "why are the pipes blue"

I tell them "Character"

Had my new T-100 T&O two weeks tommorow.

I agree it's just a great bike to ride.

The more I see the Blk/red to more I like the color.

Isn't that a grab rail and a center stand I see?

These are beautiful bikes. Every day at work I go out to the two motorcycle parking lots and look them over. 90% of them are V-twins. There is also a Ducati, a couple BMWs and some dual sports out of about 60 or 70 bikes. Not one other Triumph. I don't understand the infatuation with V-twins. Our bikes look much better IMO.

I really like the blueing - yours is particularly good, especially the way it fades from blue, through purple into the straw/gold colour

Apparently it used to be a trademark of the old Bonnies

For me it kind of implies that this engine is HOT - it works hard and dare I say it...........it's kind of ....macho

What a wonderful shade of blue! Now, THAT is how they're SUPPOSED to look. I have an older Kawasaki in-line 4 at home and they're tinted just like that. It doesn't get much better than that. :-D

Yeah, the chrome cam covers are on my wish list!
I might have to recover from the initial cash outlay first.

interesting - I agree about the looks, this is what I deem to be what a motorcycle should look like. I can't fault it. Sure it is not exactly an image of the orginal machine but I much perfer the modern machine than the old on reliability issues alone.

These bike are meant to be ridden and enjoyed and not spent in the garage fixing it.
