I saw some discussion about a larger rear tire and rim for the Bonnie on here but can't find it now. Is the there a larger laced rim offered out there and a slightly larger tie to go with it?

To go another route... At least for us America owners. Some guys are using a Thunderbird rear wheel (Or is it TBS?) that is 17" and wider and fitting 200 tires on there... Not sure if they will fit in a Bonnie swingarm or not.

I saw a large rear installed on a Jubilee Bonnie, along with a British Customs Big Bore/Cam upgrade. A TOTAL beast! The tire looks like you'll fall of the planet when cornering, but is actually very stable and good handling.

How was the big bore/cam upgrade bike power wise? I'm thinking of doing it...

I would email British Customs and they will give you the specs with whatever level of modifications you want. Great stuff! Have a dealer do it. The bike will wheelie like CRAZY. If you go whole hog, beef up the suspension and keep the stock air box. Thats what this guy did so he wouldn't have to rejet every season. Have fun!

I saw a Thruxton with the big rim and tire in Daytona. I thought it looked ridiculous. Why not just get a Big Dog with 300 if that's what you're into.
