I don't think they're that much, what are the shop costs you're referring to? I think most places have a core exhange program that's around 800, it's just a plug n play after that, no?

Wonder how it looks with just a bobbed fender, they have em on bellacorse for less than 150.

I think that wide rear fender kit is a little-sky-rip-off-high priced. Looks like they took a generic boat/chopper fender and stuck a cheap repop lucas light on it.

Sweatmachine,

You should bob your fender. I had my Thruxton fender bobed at a local V-Twin shop for only $35. Paint was extra of course. You can see it here at Clicky I'm planning on getting the wide tire/rim, but not the overpriced fender.

Sorry to rob the thread, the bellacorse fenders don't require paint. My bike is orange and white, but I'm changing it to black. If I get the bellacorse black fender (that they say does not require paint) I don't have to mess with choppin' my stocker or painting it.

Man, if I was going with the wide tire kit, i would just install the Fender Eliminator kit at British Customs...

British Customs Fender Eliminator Kit

Retails around $225
