Had this problem on my T100 (and my Ducati before it). Both times it was due to the rubber twistgrip rubbing against the bar end plug. It was a mystery to me why it should suddenly start doing this so I put it down to environmental factors as it happened in winter both times.
Check the clearance of the end of the twistgrip where it meets the bar end plug. If there's no gap and you can see it rubbing then slightly loosen the lower of the two allen (hex socket head) screws that hold the twistgrip/master cylinder/ switchgear assembly to the bars and move the whole assembly a couple of mm to give some clearance and tighten the screw. Whilst loosening the screw, hold on to the assembly to ensure it doesn't drop quickly and to maintain the orientation of the assembly.
I can't guarantee that this is your problem, but when it happened on my Ducati, I spent ages lubing cables, throttle body linkages, twistgrip assembly, etc... all to no avail. Then I noticed the lack of clearance at the twist grip and it was a 10 second fix. When the same problem occurred on my T100 I knew where to look first.
Hope this sort your problem.
