I am having a bear of a time adjusting the position of my throttle/brake lever so that the throttle doesn't stick. If I rotate it just a little bit too far forward it seems to stick. If I rotate it backwards far enough to wear it doesn't stick, the brake lever is positioned at too high an angle. I don't see any wire crimping so maybe something is crimping inside the wire housings or inside the switch housing? I checked and it has nothing to do with how close the end of the throttle is to teh end of the bars. Line up perfect, too far in or hanging off the edge... i get the same results. Something is crimping.
Anyone else have issues after change or adjusting handlebars? I have the superbars now.

I had similar issues, you might try moving the whole throttle/brake unit in a little or out whichever works. In addition to trying forward or backward rotation. Also check that your rubber throttle grip is not rubbing against the housing on the flange side or the endcap. Eventually you should find a sweet spot...

if the cables are fine.

Ya, i've pretty much tried all that. It's definitely a forward/back rotation thing. And when i find the "sweet spot" it aint so sweet. The brake lever is too high.

I put Superbars on mine and did one 20 mile ride and removed them. I didn't like the wrist pressure and the hand angle was different. I found that I had to contort my hand a bit to reach the turn signal switch. I sold them.

You may try screwing with the adjustment of the cable a little. those bars put more slack in the cables.

My throttle was sticking when I refitted all the assembly when I fitted M bars, it was because the throttle end was rubbing on the end-cap of the bars, solution, move it up by a smidgen.

I discovered if you move the back of the throttle too tight up against the housing it there is enough friction to hold the throttle open. I used it once on a long ride, kind of a cheap cruise control that was easily defeated by wrist modulation.

Maybe clip or remove the throttle cable clamp on the frame, near the horn. That might give you the inch you need to adjust lever angle. :???:
