Hi All!

I'm a brand new member, an new biker, and a new Bonneville T100 owner!

I took the RiderCourse with my brother, just to have some fun 2 weeks ago - well now I have a license and a new bike I have been riding with my hubby for a few years, but after taking the course, I decided I couldn't be a passenger anymore!

I have the White and Tangerine Bonnie that is 3 days old and have put 100 miles on her!!! YAY this bike is so much fun and handles great.

I am still a bit scared about riding, but I work close to my home and will be commuting on my bike.

It's amazing how often I have been stopped and how many people have come up to me to check out my Bonnie. Everyone asks what year it is. So, of course I lie and say she's a '63 that I rebuilt myself!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all now how much fun this bike is, but of course you all already know!

Way to be, and cheers, Mer!

Ever notice that the women refer to their mates, as, typically "MY husband" or some such; but the men refer to their other half as "THE wife." What's up with that? Or is this just a mediocre Seinfeld bit?

Anyhoo, welcome, again!

Welcome, Mer. Glad you're enjoying you new ride. Take it easy for a while until you have a good feel for the bike. But I'm sure that you have already heard that a hundred times. Great idea to have taken the MSF course. You are going about it the right way. My wife, Sue, rides and that course was a big confidence builder for her. That was three years and some 20,000 miles ago. It is good to see so many women getting off the pillion and riding their own rides. Good on you!

Extra Motorcycle: dya mean the one outside?
Welcome on board Mer.
You'll be amazed how quickly you become accustomed to your Bonnie. Get those spanners and screwdrivers ready, because if you're anything like the rest of us here, it won't be long before you succumb to the temptation to tinker.
Fear not though, herein resides pretty much all the knowledge and, failing that, link provision you're ever likely to need.
