OK, so I'm getting used to the new Speedmaster. Just a few hundred miles on it now. Finished third tank of gas. Neat bike. Like it better every time I ride it. Strange how these things grow on you.

You know - for "rideability" and "fun factor" I'm gonna give this one a 9 on a scale of 1-10.

Was just about to buy a Sportster when I got this Speedmaster....... Nothing wrong with a Sportster, mind you, but I'm very happy that I ended up with the Speedmaster.

Well-put.
We would have gone for a ride today but it was pretty raw out. The mercury is climbing into the 50s this week though.
Have you made any mods Kball?

No mods just yet. Very familiar with Harley-Davidson mods, but I have a very large learning curve with the Triumphs, having not had one since 1980. Have a shop manual on order.

Went riding yesterday for about 50 miles. it was 40 degrees but a few layers of clothing and the leathers made it bearable. Did 100 today - started out at 36 degrees at 8 o'clock but was 55 in the afternoon. Bright, sunny day.

Very happy to have found this web site. Much useful information. What did we do before we had the internet?
