I got tired of see the big bulky light set up on the back of the cruiser so I had my rear fender cut and had a flushed mounted LED tail-light installed on my '04 Speedmaster. Looks great but I need to lower my fender by 2" to get the desired effect. Any ideas in which shocks to use or is getting the shock cut a good idea. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Who did you buy your shock through? Do you have the part number?

I lowered my speedmaster with a shorter rear shock. I think it is a progressive 412. It lowers the bike 1.5". Check out my pics.

These are Hagon Nitro minus 30mm shocks with 100lb springs.[110lb is standard]

ocman,
Great looking Speedy. Thanks for your info on the shock. I'm calling around now for the best deal. I guess the ultimate question is: How does it ride? Do you think with the modification you can still ride for hours?
