Never been there. Thought about it though. Just like u I suppose. Let us know how it turns out when you go - is it worth while. Decided we'd go to Pocono RAT Raid instead this year.

Walt, we'll be at the Pocono Raid in July too.

Considered Americade but maybe next year?
Also thought about TriumphComeHome but it's just a bit too far from here. Again, maybe next year.

I've been twice, both times only for a few hours at the actual event. And both times to meet up with some friends, so it was more about riding. It also helps that my parents' house in VT is an hour away, so lodging is free for me. Good time to go see all the bikes! But it is a mob scene...

Funny you should post this today. I was just talking to my buddy last night about going over this year.

I have been to Lake George many times but never for Americade.

Great area to ride in. Very scenic.

From all accounts it's kinda like Laconia without the races.
Having lived within an hour of Laconia for many years I am very familiar with that.
A fun sense of community especially if you ride up/meet up with some friends.
Stay away from the stupid situations and it's all good.

The added bonus is that Laconia Bike Week is the following week from Americade so you can just shoot across Vermont and hit the NH Lakes region on your way home.

Two rallies for the price of one and the summer won't have even officially started yet!

Triumph supported both events last year.

Ride safe,
Dave

Silver,

Been to White Rose Club for the Triumph Come Home Rally- day tripped since it's only about 2 hours. Noth'n real special, but they're trying to build it. It's laid back and small town club event. Camping out over night is the thing. But it always seems to rain there during the event, go figure.

TCH
