Man, the mild winter really fooled us. December was like October, January was more like November; several 55+ degree days in February and March, bah! Humbug!! Its been in the 30s during the day and the high teens at night. What ever happened to "Global Warming???" We could use a little of that in NE Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to say. Does the Mason-Dixon Line extend across the Atlantic?

Yesterday was cloudy and raw.
I went for a ride anyway.

Strange winter, for sure. As soon as it's warm enough to do so (and when the parts arrive), on goes a new handlebar from MotoTwins, bar end weights, Dart screen, AND A HEATED GRIP KIT AND 12V OUTLET FOR ELECTRIC VEST. I'll turn this T100 into a Beemer yet!

Warm winters here in Northwest Florida usually end up meaning scorching summers earlier than usual and more bugs surviving. To add to the concern, the gulf waters never cooled down as much as normal. It does not bode well for the approaching hurricane season. I left the miserable winters of West Virginia almost 40 years ago and am now beginning to wonder if the winters weren't preferable to the stress of hurricane season down here.

Last month was great. 10-day forecast not even encouraging.

Support global warming - burn more hydrocarbons.

For what it's worth, those of us below the Mason Dixon line don't necessarily have it much better.

George W lied about WMD's. Al Gore lied about global warming.

You can't trust any of them.
