Hi, had an idea, has anyone cut their standard blinker stalks back. I reckon it'd be a good thing, I could keep the original sized lenses on for the safety nazis but have them tucked right in for a cleaner look. I am asking as I haven't as yet had the blinkers off and don't know how the plastic chrome stalk meets the corrugated cover, can someone advise me on this please. For the effort of a clean hacksaw cut it could turn out sweet looking. Thanks in advance, neale.

I wanted to do that but cutting them would mean cutting off the threaded part that allows them to attach to the housing and blinker shell. I saw no way of doing it short of fabricating something. So i bought new blinkers, which was good because i also hated the stock speedmaster ones. I'm not sure exactly how the bonnie ones differ, but if they also have threaded ends you'll have the same problem. Look at the pic of my bike in my signature and you can see the ones i installed which only stick out a couple inches in the rear. Of course the front on the speedmaster aren't on stems so it's only the rear that i had the problem with. But i got them all around to match and because they look so much better than stock.

Looked at them, didn't look like it would work out either, like daz said.

Someone has done it, but I can't find the thread. Cut off and re-threaded stock stalks. When I get an extra set off Ebay I'm trying it.
