Driving home from work... 56°.... dry roads... it was time.
Went to my bro's bindery... pulled the Bonnie out of it's 68°, carpeted cubicle, started up after 8-10 short starter hits... check tyre pressure while she's warming up...... on the road (no battery tender or gas goop).

Saw two bikes coming the other way- much more animated waves this time of year.... The midwest gophers are popping out... the northern ones no doubt will be following soon! (Please- no reminders how nice the weather is in CA, AZ, NM, FL, etc... believe me- we know  )

Feels great!!! (Of course rain in the forcast for the next three days- that should help get the salt off the roads.)

Be safe!!

LOL... of course later this evening I took a two mile ride to meet my wife for coffee..... it started raining... gearing up ready to head back, a young Triumph fan paid his respects... in the rain... then hit a SLOW train in wonderful Waukesha- so while I sat (in rain) and thought how this is one well engineered machine and how one can appreciate the efforts of Triumph's design team (especially if you're in the product development biz)... then my thoughts drifted (in the rain) to the &#&#* design team THAT PLACED A BATTERY UNDER A FRAME STRUT AND TERMINAL/FUSE BLOCK IN MY CHEVY VENTURE- which I used a SAWZALL to cut the POS terminal off 'cause it rounded off and I couldn't wrench it!!! :hammer: ......(still in the rain).. I can picture the designer slung that idea out AND HAD IT APPROVED BY A "TEAM" (...."ummm- yeah... that looks good... ship it.... duh )
Anyway... kudos to Triumh!!! and enjoy your "winter" :-D

Be safe
