2005 T100. can anyone tell me if these newly modified limiters are reliable and are they worth the money? :???:

I might be mistaken but I thought the 05 T100 has a 8100 limit. I know the Thrux does

mjs, U R correct. The 05 and 06 (along with the Thrux's) have an 8000 rpm limiter.

I've been running a Pro Com igniter for thousands of miles now with no glitches. My opinion is that it's a GREAT gizmo if you have a bike that hits the rev limiter at 7400 rpm, but a waste of money if you've got a newer bike that allows you to spin her up to eight grand.

These little parallel twins are producing little more torque and/or horsepower past the 7500 rpm mark. But it sure is nice when in the heat of the moment, while accelerating hard onto the freeway or passing a car..... NOT to hit the wall of a limiter as it shuts yer bike down!
