I just got a call from my dealer and I am picking up the T100 tomorrow morning! I don't imagine I will be sleeping much tonight. I'm just praying for good weather tomorrow. We've been in a drought here in KC and, of course, the first chance of rain we've had in weeks is tommorrow!

Congrats. You will love it. I'm going nuts here with the snow outside and the T100 ready to run. I hope we both have good weather in the next few days.

G'day,

Congrats. It rained the day I got my bike too. Don't be tempted to ride a new bike with new tyres in the first rain. Slippery tyres on a slippery road on a new bike is probably not how you would want to start.

Here's an update for everyone. It poured down rain all morning and afternoon here in Kansas City on Saturday. So we went up to the dealership and said we wanted to go ahead and finish up the paperwork and that I would stop by some time in the next week to drive it home. I guess the lady could see the dissapointment on my face because she immediately said, "oh I wouldn't want to ride me brand new bike home in the rain either, how about we deliver it this afternoon?" So by the time I got home and ate a late lunch, it had stopped raining (roads still wet though) and my dealer pulled up and unloaded the bike right in my driveway. I fought off the temptation to ride it saturday on the wet roads and the wait definitely paid off. It was close to 75 degrees and sunny all day on Sunday. That first ride was amazing! I had just planned on riding around the neighborhood a little, but I ended up riding for a couple of hours..... And so it begins....

Sounds great CTF. Good thing you waited but I'll bet you made a lot of dry runs that first night.

Congrats on your bike. The dealer there is long term with a good reputation and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. Glad you got your bike for Sunday riding. Make your appointment now for your 500 miler since that will be coming up before you know it. I noticed that there is also a RAT ride scheduled for the 25th I think, to Weston which is a nice ride. Hope to see you there.
